Summer News
|
Well, here we are 2010 let’s hope it’s a better year for everyone than the last, really tough, but we are still
here and will be for the foreseeable future and have booked most of the years bands. However, we would like
some suggestions as to what to do during the summer what with the World Cup and all.
Thanks to everyone that turned up for New Years Eve it was a real good night, special thanks to the “Boots”
for pulling a great set out of the bag and we have already secured them for next New Year’s Eve.
As for this year we have some new bands in, as well as your usual suspects, we hope you will come and check
them out we think they are all brilliant. As always we are looking for support bands so get in touch with us.
Remember advance tickets are available for all of our gigs and you can obtain these be either sending an
SAE along with a cheque with the correct door price and we will send them via return post or by getting them
direct from the venue during opening hours. If you have any queries, comments or suggestions, do not
hesitate to contact us via email at
standardtryst@btinternet.com.
Thank you for your continued support.

VENUE FOR HIRE
The Standard Music Venue a conference venue? Well that's what we thought but recently
we held a conference/presentation for a local business and it was a great success.
If you're interested, we are adaptable
Anyone big enough for a party at the Standard? We supply staff, security, atmosphere.
You supply the people & hire fees which start from £150. Available Sun, Mon, Tues, Wed
Give us a call if interested on 020 8503 2523
It's who you know
We are trying to book original bands that have been there and done it. Do you know
anyone, any band, or live next door to Eric Clapton? We have found that musicians
want to play, anytime and anywhere. The problem is the managers and agents who
won't let them appear anywhere as distant as E17!
